It could use some more pictures of the interim steps but otherwise it's a good tutorial. I had a lot of fun making that box though it took longer than I thought it would. I am still a bit bummed about not being able to pull off the steampunk birdhouse. I had such pretty designs drawn up for it. Sadly it was going to cost too much to get the little pieces I needed and the time involved was looking a bit daunting. Not to mention I'm a bit afraid it'd be rather heavy thus making it hard to hang/post somewhere in the garden.

Thanks for sharing!  I'm thinking those would make wonderful wedding/anniversary gifts.  Putting a picture of the couple in a small antique looking locket inside along with a few rose petals or such would make it perfect.
