Baby gift bag

One of my co-workers is due June 10th, so of course, I had to make her and her baby a homemade gift.  (And pray that she lasts out the rest of the school year!)  I sewed her two burp cloths and a bib, but once that was done, I realized I had nothing to put it in.

Joann's Fabric to the rescue!  I purchased a plain brown bag, some animal stickers (the nursery is jungle-themed) and some elephant ribbon.  Some cutting, use of the permanent markers and a bit of glue, and I came up with this:



I used a stencil and the markers to do the 'It's a boy!' bit.




I made the card separate so she can re-use it for her other friends who will have baby boys. 

She thought it was really cute.
