My daughter's school had a Spring Fling dance and we couldn't find a dress she liked.  I sew for my little ones a lot, but she's a teenager and not that into my creativity  Roll Eyes  Anywho, she decided to let me try and make her one.  She picked everything out.  It was a last minute thing and lots 'o stressful, but I got it done.  I would like to say, though, I know my seam ripper intimately now. Cheesy

You can kind of see the back.  It wasn't perfect, and the zipper was a hack job, but she liked and I was really happy to get to sew for my oldest.

Thanks ladies.  The print came from Joann's Riviera Collection.  We had a royal blue that matched for the cumberbund, but I screwed it up and just happen to find the turquoise in my stash of stuff I've been given over the years and we ended up really liking that.
