Homemade Playdough with the three year old!

My son and I made playdough today. Oh, man was it fun! The best part was when he decided to experiment on the effects of blowing into a cup full of flour, though. 

I wish I could have gotten pics during the making of it but didn't think about it until the playtime started. 

Anyway! Here are the results. I have no idea why I didn't try this sooner. ^_^

Cool, what recipe did you use?


Oh and have you every made peanut butter dough?  Its fun and tastes great  (PB and powdered/icing sugar mixed together until it makes a dough....great later covered in chocolate, tastes like a reeses)

I love making playdough. I haven't made that in years!!! Except I always used tons of food coloring so my hands were stained for days. It looks like you guys had a ton of fun. I'm sure he loved it!!!!

Oh, man. That peanut butter dough sounds way too good. My son would eat within five minutes. Peanut butter is his weakness. 

I didn't use enough food coloring, but that was all we had. My hands are still pink from the red. I can't imagine using more than that! O.O

the colours are great - i remember getting colour everywhere - its not worth the hassle!!
