I lost my father to cancer this past November, so of course I went to your website to read the whole book. It really struck a chord with me, and definitely made me shed a few tears.

Beautiful. Really beautiful.

This is an absolutely fantastic book.

I lost my dad to lung cancer when I was two years old, and my second dad (hate the term step-dad or adoptive dad) I lost two months ago to brain cancer.

My niece said something the other day that I think holds very true to anyone dealing with the death of a close family member, "I have a hurt inside me. I don't know how to get rid of it, and it keeps getting bigger."

I cried. A lot. But I also loved it.
I will definitely be sharing your book with my family.

I just have to say, I'm not one to get emotional over anything unless it's extremely personal, but I read your entire book on your site and almost cried (tears were in my eyes, I swear!). It is so touching and beautiful, and wonderfully made. It must have been hard when you lost your dad, and those feelings are reflected in your book. It's so lovely.

--They're rough - so rough, that the paper I'm gonna use is still a tree.

I lost my Dad to lung cancer in January 2009. I just had to go read your book and I cried. It captures the emotions so perfectly. Very well done Smiley
