Thank you for sharing your book, your amazing illustrations and your personal story. It's so touching and your artwork really is nothing short of incredible.

As soon as I finish crying I'm going to call my Dad. Thank you.

That was beautiful both in craft and in sentiment. I'm sorry for your loss. You've done your father's memory a wonderful service in this book.

I went to your blog and read the whole thing, it is just beautiful. Made me cry a little- it reminded me of my grandpa.

Your illustrations are amazing. It's incredible that you were able to convey so much emotion in their faces with the paper! It's a beautiful book and I hope you sell lots of copies!

Oh my gosh you guys, what a wonderful response! I'm sorry (and maybe a little glad) that it made so many of you cry. Apparently it makes most people cry, which I find to be a huge compliment.

For those of you asking how I did it, I'll just link you to something I did in the past. It's easier than explaining the whole thing. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=333622.0

That is basically what I did, but the actual images were gigantic.

Wow. I cried when reading your book. So beautifully articulated. The cut paper work is incredible. Very moving.
