Thank you for sharing this. I was 26 when my dad died from cancer in 2006, but I can still totally identify. Made me cry. It sounds like you've found some peace, and I'm glad. Very touching story, and well illustrated, too.

All of your feedback means so much to me, you guys really have no idea. My next step is trying to find a publisher... or just people to buy it. Haha.

Thank you so much, you guys <3

I'd definitely buy one. Put me on the list and let us know when they are available!

This is a wonderful book!!  The illustrations are great, the story is simple but very raw. This would be a great book for kids who have lost thier parent (or anyone else) to a disease or illness, or who are in the middle of loosing someone.  My sympathy to you, on the loss of your Father.  I'm going to share this with my friends who just lost their Father, and the ones who volunteer at the same camp as I do (its for children who's lives have been affected by cancer) Good luck finding a publisher! I know i'd buy one.

The book is actually available right now at lulu.com, though it's a bit on the expensive side. Aaahh! I hope I don't get in trouble for posting this :x

My father died of Melanoma when I was 10 and I wish that I had a book to show me that other kids had this happen to them as well.
