That is one of the cutest quilts ever!!  I agree that the awesomeness was two-fold: quilting and embroidery!!!  Great job!

sheepblue--ha ha --I was in one altered puzzle swap so I know how much work went into the puzzle.  I am the one sweating bullets now as I hope my project is awesome enough to be worthy of your art!!

I got a frame that is like a thin shadow box...there are foam things that keep the glass off the art itself so the little fish and other 3-d pieces are not harmed!

ha ha --I am going to go check out your post to be sure I put it together correctly before I permanently frame it!  Do you know how hard it is to put a puzzle together without a picture reference?  It took me a bit of time to figure it out!

LOL there were two times I tried assembling it to make sure I had all the pieces and that it was looking good and almost had a panic attack when I thought they weren't fitting right. It just takes a little patience - I think you had it assembled right in your picture.

That altered puzzle is amazing!!! I especially love the koi piece.

And that quilt? Wowza! I'm wisting that bad boy right now. That would make an awesome baby blanket, too. Wink

I love the puzzle. I just finished a simple one, and this one totally awesomely blows it away. Composition is great. I would love to see it framed.

The quilt is so awesome as well. That embroidery is wonderful and whimsical and this is the best group of craftsters/swappers ever.

I just finished my 12 hour day, but Beeker, your item is almost ready, and I am sure (hoping) you will like it. My girlfriend wants it.

I just can't wait to see more, so Edie22 don't feel bad about not being able to craft as quickly.

I have a split personality, because you guys crack me up.  AND The best day I ever had was TODAY!

So i received the best swap package EVER from ptarmic wumpus! She hand made me a backstrap weaving loom! Click link for a visual of one put together http://www.snomnh.ou.edu/collections-research/cr-sub/ethnology/mayan/Images/Backstrap%20loom.jpg

Yarn to get me started and the awesome roll up that contains all of the loom parts, she even made it with nautical fabric that i love!

different parts and pieces, all handmade! Totally awesome!

every pocket is labeled, very handy!

the beautiful strap that goes around my back to secure the loom, she wetfelted it!

and the awesome book that i've already read half of, i want to learn how to use my new loom asap, its just too cool! I've always wanted to learn to weave!

Nikki, I cannot say thank you enough and I only hope you like your package half as much as I love mine!
