I'm glad you like it lovesclutter. I got a sparkley confetti bag today in the mail. I will post pics very soon. I got lots of compliments on it this evening. I just don't think I can survive fighting with the picture uploads right now. I am going to chill and watch top chef.

I think this gallery is going to wear out the "add to wists" button on my computer. It will definitely give my partner in the FOC wist swap some more to choose from.

I have made containers before but this one was the first one like this. I had a hard time deciding whether or not to add more to the design....simplicit y won out.

Did you think she would ever get it? I think that was relatively quick. That is such a piece of wearable art.

ha ha ha lovesclutter...when I first read this I thought you were talking about the gourd!!!  I was trying to imagine wearing it around my neck...

i had to giggle about the gourd around your neck...

well, we could add a big ol string around it and it could be a massive pendant. Or we could just make the hole bigger and you could wear it on your head 

So impressed with the gourd. I hope the ones I planted grow... I'd love to have a set of those hidden boxes!

good luck with your gourds. I hope mine survive all the rain. the mounds out in the garden have looked like islands surrounded by water.

I can't even begin to tell you guys how thrilled I am with the package I received from, gingerquilts. She sent me something that is so awesome, so thoughtful, so totally perfect for me and SO desperately needed.

The items she sent me are literally things I'm going to use every single day for a long time to come. How awesome is that???

Okay, to really help you understand how desperate I was I have to start with this picture of my current needle organization system. This shot captures about 1/10th of the needles I own. The rest are strewn throughout the house...

Gingerquilts and her amazing sewing skills to the RESCUE!!!! She sent me the most awesome needle holder and knitting tool book ever...


The needle holder is HUGE and will hold everything - including my crochet hooks!!! I coudn't even fit the whole thing in one picture!


The knitting tool book is...you guessed it....awesome! It's going to be so incredible to have all of my important tools at my finger tips. Each little page has a different treasure!! 





The best part about both of these is that she picked a very thoughtful theme for me. I love knitting and I love dogs - these have both! 

Seriously, gingerquilts is going to help me shave HOURS off of my projects - hours I spend looking in drawers, under couches, in dog kennels, etc for my tools and needles.

I can't wait to get organized!!
