Glad you like it superstitch!  And the reveal of the danger of spontaneous combustion: linseed oil used on the loom-y bits.

I couldn't believe my luck when I opened my package from MareMare.  She made me a lovely, lovely lap quilt!  She intended it as a little quilt for our new greyhound, but it's far too pretty for that--this lap quilt is MINE!  It's exactly my favorite colors--as you can see, the fabrics are perfectly aligned to my outfit today!  The orange binding is what really gets me--so amazing!  And I LOVE the modern design.  It is so well-made and just so perfect!  Thank you so very much, MareMare!  I truly can't believe how gorgeous it is.  Wow!!!!

I'm so glad you like it oneredboot! The binding fabric was the only fabric that wasn't from my stash (I think you and I have similar tastes in fabric lol) but when I saw it at the store it seemed very "you" and like it would tie the whole quilt together well! I almost used the binding fabric as the backing, but it wasn't quite as high of quality as the backing fabric I had already planned on (and ended up using) and wanted to be sure it would wear ok, especially if it ended up being for Wanda Wink

Lovely woodland critters quilt.  So adorable and well stitched!

That PUZZLE!  So cute.  Ha ha ha, still have the box it came in.  Storing that one away for future use.

The loom and loom cozy with strap and book!  I've not seen one, very awesome!

Adorable "Lap not greyhound" quilt!  Loving the orange binding for sure.

Great awesomeness everyone!

I second that! It's not often that you see a quilt in a swap gallery - especially one as awesome as this!!

I adore the fabrics you used and the pattern. The splash of bright pink/orange adds the perfect touch. Great job!
