Seriously?
Just me?
The New Hampshire wool and sheep festival was a few weekends ago, I got a boat load of stuff. The dark brown/black is llama, and the lime and purple is border leicester. I started knitting a shawl with the single. The llama is a 2 ply.

I love those colours together.  Reminds me of coleus plants.

Here is my spinning this week.  Its my first attempt at art yarn.  I love it.  I'm picturing knitting a big slouchy loosely knit hat from it.  I know my daughter will love and wear it.

The yarns look lovely! Cheesy I am new to spinning to I haven't had a go at plying yet but I think it is in my near future.

I'm a bit late, but here's the 100% BFL single I have been spinning:

It's off the spindle now but I was playing around with my camera settings at the time and thought that photo came out nicely!  Wink

Oooo! Art yarn <3!

That is one delicious looking spindle jrain  Cheesy if you don't mind my asking, where did you find it?

Been playing around with dye lately (stained hands ><) so hopefully next FF i'll be joining in >>; Alas exams are fast approaching and they do mess with possible spinning times.

I got the spindle through a destash on Ravelry but it was originally bought from butterflygirldesigns on etsy. Cheesy I was looking for something other than a plain spindle to start out with and it fit the bill perfectly!

Ha, ha.  I'll keep it in mind.  Though, I'm sure she'll like it.  She loves hats of any type.  We just gutted her room and she had sooo  many knitted hats.  And she wears them all.  Living in northern Canada, we have to wear woolies alot.

I must say it was really freeing spinning this.  I'm usually not able to do the backwards long draw very well, but since it was 'art yarn'  I just went with the flow.  Very enjoyable spin
