My goal is to create a small, flame-shaped, relatively realistic looking pendant (several strung along a necklace necklace, and a couple for earrings).

Is this do-able in peyote stitch, do you think? Might a different stitch lend it self better to the task?

Any idea where I might find a pattern?

I'm not looking to make a square piece with a flame design within the square. I'm hoping for the piece itself to be flame shaped using flame colored beads (e.g., orange, yellow, red, some blue).

Thanks in advance for your beady wisdom and guidance,
~CD~
