i saw this movie: http://www.videojug.com/film/how-to-convert-a-t-shirt-into-a-sexy-dress

i had this, lying around from my work at festival: (in the foodstands. yes I am the one serving you your french fries with a smile on my face)
a XXXL-tee, verrrry yellow

i made this:

and after all that sewing, I still had a bunch of fabric left:

I did quite a lot of things a bit different than in the movie. I sewed on buttons, made the breastpieces differently and adjusted (is that even the right word for it?) the sides, because it looked like a potatobag Smiley
It turned out pretty great, I must say! Next thing is the same dress, but a different fabric (this was only a try)

c&c appreciated!

I love the way you did the top - the gathers and buttons are such a great touch. And more coverage is always nice  Wink

Love this - thanks for sharing.

very impressive! I wouldn't think right off the bat that that tshirt would be enough fabric to make such a perfect dress. It looks great on you

Your dress is too cute!  I saw the same video a few days ago and wasn't so sure...  But I love your dress!  Do you have any photos of the back?

This is a really pretty dress! I love the color and the pattern for the bodice. I may have to try this now!

i like yours a TON more than the one in the video...what did you do differently with the top?

you should make a tutorial for the things you did differently. because yours is way cuter than the one from the video!
