Ideas about attaching cushion to wood chair back without upholstery nails?

Anyone have any ideas on things I can use to secure the cushion, instead of upholstery nails?

maybe just use normal nails. To cover up the nail heads glue a nice trim around the edge of the pillow, over the nails.
Ill have to see if I can find a picture to explain.
