How beautiful! There's clearly so much work in this - good luck in the competition.

Your crochet skills and this peacock are amazing!!!!  The tail feathers are especially neat.

One does not simply walk into Mordor. Its black gates are guarded by more than just orcs. There is evil there that does not sleep. The great eye is ever watchful. It is a barren wasteland, riddled with fire, ash, and dust. The very air you breathe is a poisonous fume.......

Never seen anything like it!  Very beautiful.  What made you decide on a peacock?

Thanks so much rossie! Smiley When I decided that I wanted to try to enter the contest, I went to store to check out all the colors and try to brainstorm some different animals that I could make. (I don't have the patience for blankets or functional things, so I knew I was going to make SOME kind of animal Smiley As soon as I saw the dark teal blue color, it screamed "peacock" to me, and I realized all the colors were there, so I decided to go for it. Ironically, the name of that teal yarn IS "peacock"--but I didn't notice it until I was gathering up the UPC codes for the yarn to enter the contest after I already had the peacock finished  Cheesy
