I am in love with this flower tutorial. I am using it repeatedly in my wedding crafts. I need to figure out something to do with my hair and made this last night. I like it but in my wedding planning daze (9 days and counting) I wonder if it is too much? Does it looks like one of those weird baby head garters?

used a vintage earring for the center.

At first glance I thought it might be "too much", but then I tried to picture it with a white dress and bouquet and maybe its not.  It's pretty without doubt.

I don't think it is too much at all.  The lightly fraying edges give it a soft, romantic look instead of a fussy, serious look.
I think it will be a fab accessory with your awesome sandals.

since i'm wearing a big ol' renaissance style floral wreath to my wedding...I would say this is definitely NOT too much. It took me a minute to 'get it' but i think it's quite cute for a casual sorta wedding...kwim?
