Heres some photos of my best friends sisters wedding in Oct 2006, which i made the bridesmaids dresses for. I cant take any credit for the fabric or pattern choice as the bride did that herself (and i think she did a great job) i just did the donkey work. It was an autumn wedding in Ireland, so thats where the inspiration for the colour scheme came from.

My friend Sarah, is the bridesmaid to the right and her sister Mary is the bride.

There was 2 different fabrics, both a chocolate brown taffeta with a bronzey goldy hue, one fabric (the top) was plain, the other (the skirt part) was the same fabric but with floral embroidery all over it.

The pattern used was http://www.simplicity.com/dv1_v4.cfm?design=4272

Hope you like the pictures

Those are the colours I've chosen for my wedding in the fall.  What kind of flowers did she have?  They match the dresses perfectly.

You did an amazing job, and the wedding colors really set the gowns off.  Smiley

Gorgeous dresses; nice work, Cloud_9!  Your sewing skills frighten me.   Wink
all cut up:  the flowers look like orange and cream Gerbera daisies.  Those things are amazing---they're hardy (if you'd like to try growing some), come in almost every color, aren't obnoxious/huge, last well as cuttings, and have a faint, but pretty, scent.

Oh, it's just kittens.

I want to leave this world the way I came into it:  naked, screaming, and covered in someone else's blood.
