I love the roller derby stuff, and the owl paintings.

I received a package from Nostephot yesterday that blew me away and totally turned my bad day around.  Isn't that what friends are for?  I will post pictures by tonight I hope!!

I received a great 3rd package from rlynn last week but couldn't open it since I wasn't home. Now I'm back and ready to show off the fantastic things she made.

First of all a colourful skirt from my wist with a yoga waistband

It's a little roomy but I LOVE it Smiley

3 different leathery headbands

You can also see the birdie earrings she sent in package 2.
My boyfriend thought it was something like a bow-tie but when I put one on he thought I looked like from a silent movie.

a stationary organizer with cards, envelopes and writing paper

inside the organizer I found 2 lovely necklace

Thanks, Robin, for being my swap partner! As I already told you I really enjoyed this swap!

im glad you like everything, eva.  a bit peeved that i made the skirt too big.  i was worried about that as ive never made adult clothing before.  hopefully you can fix it and make it more snug.  maybe sew up an upside down triangle in the back so it doesnt mess with the gathered tier?  and then snip the excess fabric off.  since its jersey it wont fray.

anyhow, i am picking up my box from you this morning sometime.  yay!!! so excited! this has been a wonderful swap and youve been a wonderful partner.  Smiley

Don't worry! I'll do something about it. I also had it in mind to sew a triangle but I wouldn't snip the excess off just in case.
I'm wearing the skirt right now tightened with a safety pin. I so love it.
I hope you like what I made... I'm scared Cheesy Your package was great!

PACKAGE 3

I received my last package from Ewulotta!  And she so spoiled me.  I love it all.

First up is this beautiful fabric!  Its fantastic!

this gathered clutch...such cute fabric

this wallet (already in use...i immediately put my cards and ID in it, I had told Eva that my husband gives me crud all the time because I don't have a wallet and carry around a ton of cards in my pocket and bag) oh and aria tried to take this from me but i decided that i'm allowed to have something just for me.  heh.  she still wears the felt bead bracelet you sent.  i only get to wear it if i sneak it on and she somehow doesn't notice.

inside of wallet...you can see my ID peeking out of the pocket and look at that lovely zipper!  Smiley

and what could this be with the beautiful applique leaves...?

this brilliant, fantastical yoga top skirt!!!! LOVE!  i will have to make myself some more of these for when my PhD program starts!  so comfortable yet way more classy than my yoga pants that are falling apart!  Smiley

and a happy action shot with the cute toddler!

Thanks, Eva!  This really brightened my day after an incredibly stressful and emotionally draining week.  we should definitely do a personal swap in the future!  i love everything you've made me!  oh and thank you for the gummies...they are almost gone and the recipe for the cinnamon stars...i'm going to have phil make them for the winter holidays!

on another note...the fact that Christoph thought i sent you bow ties made me chuckle.  hehehe...
