Package 2

I received a fabulous second package from rlynn last week. The bf was kind enough to bring it to my parents home where I'm spending my vacation because I'm begged him constantly. Couldn't have waited until August.

I so love what she made for me. Have a look:

she made me some gorgeous fabric containers in three different sizes. She also included some great fabric which is difficult to get here.

There was also some jewellery. The red eaarings lool like strawberries and the necklace holds a felted bead and looks like an acorn, I think. I forgot to take a picture of some birdie earrings which I was wearing when I took these.

Thank you rlynn! You're a great swap partner!

I'll swap for postcards, badges, maps or brochures from everywhere in the US! I'm an English teacher and always happy about authentic material for my classroom.

Origami is so cool. (I am not about to say I want to learn that, because I am forbidden from picking up another craft. Seriously, way too many tools and supplies around as it is. i will have to buy a separate house just for supplies if I learn any more. Belladune already has me out buying roving and cruising etsy for spinning supplies and tools. No more! (At least until no one is looking.)

Those last two packages are just made of win. I love those fabric boxes, and the lunch bags are so cute. I swear, there's a super talented bunch in this swap.

I got the coolest package from WhiteSheep!

She put together an amigurumi kit with three types of yarn (including a gorgeous silky alpaca skein), felt (for eyeballs and faces and such), a crochet hook and THE COOLEST AMIGURUMI BOOK EVER.  Creepy cute?  That's the best!  I can't wait to get started.

I also got two great pieces of fabric (including the most adorable sheep fabric!), a gorgeous smelling vegan lavendar soap, a great i love my cat phone charm (that's already on my phone), a ring (the very first she's made!), and another gorgeous hand spun and dyed ball of wool.  Here's another photo--sorry it's not better-of the wool:

Incidentally WhiteSheep is already legendary with the women who knit in my family.  They LOVE her wool--and so do I!

Kraftikitonet, what is that with all the buttons? I love it whatever it is. And is that... polymer clay and tools in the last photo?

I think the buttons are glued onto the lid of the box that has the polymer clay and tools in the last photo.
