At long last, my pic of my package from ohiodiygirl! I got it several days ago, but I have been sharing a computer with mom and had to wait to upload the pic.
Items include grow your own pirate, ship & treasure, ring pops and candy necklaces, a Rainbow Bright trinket box, a daisy bracelet, an altered tin (vintage pic with quote "You're sweet, but I only date vampires."), christmas ornament, cd, perler coasters, sewing kit (great minds think alike - I sent her one, too!) band stickers, crocheted face cloth, barrettes, and cherry necklace. Excellent stuff. The face cloth is from my wists, and the necklace and barrettes are getting worn frequently. I definitely think I will use it all. Thanks, ohiodiygirl!

Fun stuff! I'm bummed my partner won't get mine for several days. I always mean to ship early when I have an international partner...don't know that it's ever happened though! Maybe if I figure out package 2 right now it will help! I do have package 3 figured out and have consulted with another mod about it (the one who happens to live in the same city as me).  <---That would be my hint for my partner, bwahahahah!

this is the link for the bracelets to raise money for the oil spill. since i live so far away it was the best way for me to feel like i was helping out in someway. unfortunately, it is not a "kid friendly" saying but my 8 year old son suggested they make some that say "give a buck, save a duck". i thought that was cute! i might have to suggest it!

Thanks for the link! I just joined, im going to get at least 2 of those bracelets. I feel the same way, not a whole lot I can do all the way from California! But it really hits home since i live 5 minutes away from the beach and it would be seriously devastating if that happened here also. Sad

I am so jealous of the skull washcloth! You don't know how many times I have tried to make that and I always end up missing a stitch somewhere and it ends up looking like a really mutilated head!

NICE JOB!

I received from sophieangele today! She definitely spoiled me, and I feel like I have a much better understanding of her style. My first package was a bit smaller in scale than what she sent me...good thing I have two more packages to put together Wink

The pictures:

Drink: Earl Grey tea
Edible: Hello Kitty lolly
Favorite animal: Owl (birds) Notepad (So cute! I love owls, too!)
Summer Essential: Hello Kitty cup for cold drinks...definitely will get use during the hot Florida summer!

Favorite book: The Memoirs of Gluckel of Hameln
Something Paper: A copy of her zine, Modern Convert. She also made an entire set of hand cut notecards - beautiful!
Kitchen staple: Little cupcake silicone baking cups.
Something local: Israeli Notecards & postcards and Edinburgh postcards
Something you Collect: Stationary (I collect stationary, too!)
Favorite pattern: A quarter of very pretty floral fabric.

Favorite character: Hand painted Hitcher t-shirt (I love the Mighty Boosh!)
Favorite Musician: Regina Specktor inspired embroidery. (I'm only familiar with her two most recent albums - so the image is unfamiliar, but this is a gorgeous piece).
Favorite Hair Accessory: Headband (It's a bit hard to see in the picture, but it is very sparkly and pretty!)

Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy your package, too!

I am loving seeing all these great packages!  Belladune, I loved Good Omens.  Both Missing_Muse and I are Terry Pratchett fans, and I do enjoy Neil Gaiman as well.  It was a good collaboration of both men's talents; Gaiman's occult drama, and Pratchett's sense of humour and the ridiculous.  I have read that book at least twice and it always gives me a good laugh.

I am doing well with package two.  Then I found a skipped a step or two and started some small stuff for package 3 just because I was excited to do them.  What the heck was with that???
