So happy to be the 1st recipent!!  Nostephot sent me the best package 1.  We are so much alike!   She is from New Orleans and was displaced by Katrina - and NOLA is my favorite place on earth.  I live very close.  So, her package was a combo of NOLA stuff, reflecting how much she misses it, and her new life in Austin.  My new friend is very talented also!  



The above is now my favorite tee shirt, from her favorite Austin Tex-mex restaurant!  



Above is the beautiful fleur de lis cross stitch in a frame she did for me - it's on display in my LR now - I LOVE this!.  Then there are some great smalls like the pins, drink mix (which was perfect as I don't drink soda but do drink these and she didn't know that!).  She made those fleur de lis notecards - love them!  There is gum, a Burda Style personal measurement card (I do lots of garment sewing - how did she know that??)  "Be a New Orleanian wherever you are bookmark", and a great smelling candle.  



The above shows the really great yo yos and fabric flowers she made.  I was looking into learning these not long ago.  There is a journal and a matching pouch for my purse filled with lip balms.  There is a scrapbook all about her that she sent.  Such a cool idea, I really enjoyed it.  The best ever necklace in the middle of the photo - it really deserves a pic of it's own so I will do that later.  I'll be wearing this a lot.  It's made with glass Mardi Gras beads she caught this year - the best Mardi Gras ever that NOLA has had.  So special!!!  



Above are some of the fabrics in the box - I LOVE the green and blue screaming kitty!!  In the back is a cool red and black.  



Is this not the coolest Halloween wall decoration?  Here is a closeup.  Sorry I didn't press them, I was wanting to take the photos right then!  





Above is a great yarn basket that's in my bathroom now, an Austin cozy, Austin postcard which is going on my wall of cards and letters I've gotten from sewing friends, gummy worms, and a New Orleans Saints themed bookmark she made.  Love that, cause I really needed one!
