For my birthday, my hubby got me this 12 pack of glitter, because he loves me Smiley

And I had this old ugly bicycle

Combine both with 1 large tube of Elmers glue and you get this:

I named her Elfaba after the Wicked Witch in the book Wicked.
I got the basket at Goodwill, $1 glossy black spray paint from Home Depot and $3 sticky back glitter letters from Jo-Ann's.

All in all, this custom "paint" job was completed for under $15.  Although it took FOREVER to finish.  Glittering is not fun after the first hour... There are still a few spots I could've fixed, but I'm so over glittering that I said screw and put a coat of glossy polyurethane on.

A week ago, I never would've said that there is such a thing as too much glitter... I have proved myself wrong. I do love her though.  Several people have asked where I got her and I get to tell them that it's custom Smiley
Thanks for looking!!

Holy heck that is AMAZING!!! I love your bike! If it happens to go missing....it wasn't me.  Wink  Seriously, I am amazed at the amount of patients and time this must have taken you.

Thank you! Yes, it was painstakingly tedious.  My MIL said I should market it... but I will NEVER... DO IT... AGAIN!!

Wow!  What an undertaking! Good job!  I like that you named it after the Wicked Witch!

I love that you put the bike's name on the basket, instead of your own! My bike has glitter envy.  Wink
