I am going to start working on my potholders tonight.  I am excited.

I know I am going to sew/quilt the potholder.  Nothing more yet.

That's awesome Retro!  I am forcing myself to finish my Steampunk Charms Swap before I dive fully into potholders, but I have my fabrics picked, and some ideas sketched out for my awesome partner.   Cheesy

I have some ideas too, but as always some of them are overly ambitious! I think I'm finally going to cut into a fabric I've been hoarding for a few years now.

I dream of a house covered with your art, and would love a personal swap. Pm me if you'd like to spread the crafty love! I also need blue fabric scraps for a scrap quilt!

Hello all....I have taken apart and old ugly ironing board cover ROTFL...and will use this and the inside of my  potholders IF IT WORKS like it does in my head ROTFL....I want to be thrifty, crafty and different sooo I have a great idea and hope it works but if not not a big deal I have some great patterns  for some other beautiful potholders...I cant wait..

I have one more thing to finish and this is all my free time Smiley Kids are now out of school with Strep, last day is tomorrow and Summer care starts for him tomorrow but not with strep, so when he is better Sad and she is MWF at the church so I have 3 days a week to really get into this + naps and whatever in the eve LOL...

What a clever idea, babalina!  I would have never thought of it, but it seems so obvious now that you've said it.  Smiley

Finished up knitting my first potholder. I don't like the way it came out. It is from a dishcloth pattern. I will try it again. Must have messed up a row or two. Unless my partner doesn't mind errors. It was the first time I made this pattern.
I love them! Besides I wouldn't be able to tell if it's an error anyway LOL

Yay, pot holders are done! I am making myself a late night snack so I can test them. Don't want to burn my partners fingers!

Now I just need to think about the extras. Cheesy

I've been looking through patterns and there are just too many to chose from. This may come down to drawing from a hat or flipping a coin (if I can get it narrowed down to two...). Oh well. Can't wait to start crafting - wanted to do it this weekend but other stuff got in the way. Have a great day tomorrow everyone and happy crafting!
