I bought three meters of this horrible synthetic, slippery stuff for about $10 from out the back of a dress shop about 8 years ago and then it sat under a giant pile of fabric and patterns until now. I love the shade of red, still not convinced about the pattern and the feel but I reckon it works ok.

I used the same pattern as I did for this dress http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=346689.0 but I added a sash at the back and tiny bows on the sleeves.

Sorry I don't have a full length photo of me wearing it, only this totally indulgent photo of my boyfriend and I out having a beer  Tongue

Thanks for looking  Cheesy

I think the pattern of the dress looks amazing!! The colour of the fabric totally works with the pattern of the dress - looks so vintage, it's untrue! Good work! Smiley -x-

Nice! The dress has a really cute shape to it and the bow? Perfect!

It is better to have crafted and failed then never to have crafted at all.
Yes, I am stalking the Toys and Playthings board. Thanks for noticing!
I'm cheating on Craftster with Pinterest. It's ok though. There's overlap.

I just finished my "hot rod" top last night so I'll post that soon. Maybe once I've made a skirt to go with it  Huh

You make the prettiest things. I love the little details on this thing-- the bows, that amazing collar, it's all good.
Love the fit on you, by the by.

That's such a cute dress. I love the fabric (colour and pattern) and it's amazing how different dresses look in different colours/colour combinations. I absolutely adored your sailor dress and I love this one too. Hooray for bows!!!
