Here is my new baby. I just traded my mom for it because she found it too confusing (she got the really simple singer, good machine, it served me well). I'm still in the process of breaking this one in though, I'm actually using the instruction manual for this one, which is new for me.

and sorry the picture is a little pale, it was a really really sunny day and the craft table is right next to a big window.

I got a "new" machine:  my grandma's Singer 347.

I am in love  Kiss  It didn't have a manual, but I bought a PDF version of it online for $8, so I'm a basically happy girl.

Now I need a name for it.  I'm so indecisive!

my mom has that same machine! after trying to buy and use 2 others, she's gone back to the old faithful turquoise singer that weighs a TON! all metal parts means they stand the test of time.  Smiley

I LOVE the old, metal machines.  I've been searching for "the one" for months (okay, it's not really that long, but it seems like forever).  And for some reason, I love that it's not white.  The blue just has so much more...pizazz  Grin

k8kre8s, I think my machine and your Mom's are couins Cheesy

queenofdiy : I should have been clearer. Blame the fact that I was up past my bed time. I swapped with my mom. I got hers and she got mine and now we are all happy!
