Heyyyy!! Im really tempted by this swap (seriously you can never have too many stitch markers and anyway the more you have the more projects you can do lol) anyhow, ive never done anything like this before so would it be ok for a virgin in the craft to have a go?

Thanks Nessy x

I would love to swap for things kids could do in the car on a long car trip (3 girls ages 5-12). I can knit, crochet or trade yarn.

I think I may have to join in on this! I really could use some more stitch markers.... I am always losing them or the clasp breaks! I even have some jump rings already that I could make into knitting stitch markers!

I will think about it tonight and sign up tomorrow! Could this be the type of swap where you could craft before sign ups end? only reason I'm asking is I could whip up a ton of these bad boys in no time at all? Or would waiting to see partners likes be better?

Hi all! I will be closing sign-ups Friday at noon, you will have partners by the afternoon as I have to go away for the weekend for my Dad (no computer access though).

I've already begun preliminary groupings... seen the number of people who've joined, looks like we'll have to be in smaller groups than originally intended.

You'll still be able to sign-up later on Friday, though you'll have to wait for Monday to be assigned to a group.

I don't see why not, so long as you pick and choose what you send to who so that everyone's happy with what they get. One special marker made especially for a partner would be nice too (though not required).

This is exciting!!!!!

Perfect! You can add me to that list of yours! I'll fill out my info tonight and send it to ya!

Info sent! It's a small group so maybe I will send an extra goodie or two to my partners Grin

Awww! I would LOVE to join this swap!!

I've never actually had a real stitch marker. I've been crocheting for about two years and I've always just used these cool earrings my grammy got me about 6 years ago. I'm always afraid my earrings are going to break or something and I would love to have a real stitch marker so I could do more than two projects at once!

But unfortunately i'm new to swaps and I'm currently involved in my first. So I don't fit the "successfully completely one swap before participating in multiple swaps at a time" requirement.  Undecided

I can't wait for round two though!! (I hope there's a round two at least)  Cheesy

If everything goes well and enough people are in, I don't see why there couldn't be a round two! Wink

Partnering is pretty much done, just need to hear from one swapper regarding shipping... if she's okay with my proposition, we'll be able to have two groups, otherwise I'll have to make 3 smaller groups.

I'll leave sign-ups open until I hear back from her. Hopefully it'll be before I leave, if not, I'll have drafts ready and should be able to take a few minutes on my mom's computer to send everyone their partners! Grin
