My partner sillysmushyhippocake received Last wednesday but was unable to post so I am posting for her- when thiis swap first started she didn't have a wist but told me she collects everything Alice in Wonderland and hippos so I ran with that'

these:

became these:

the Mad hatters hat and a giant teacup $7.00

a dollar store box and some dollar store paints( although I didn't include them in the cost I used maybe $0.25 worth)  I did want other craftsters to know they are out there- made by Decoart excellent quality- I also have black but when it came time for pictures he went missing so I substituted another for the picture

Alice in wonderland box $1.25

a ceramic hippo bank got a makeover with the aid of leftover bandanna from the teacup $1.00

and a bag of dollar store sand along with some kitchen  ingredients became sand sculptures $1.00

the pictures don't do them justice my camera just wasn't corporating with me that day

there are many recipes on the internet for sand clay- very easy to make -uses only cornstarch, sand cream of tartar and water you have to  cook it on the stove until it pulls away from the pans sides - allow to cool sculpt and allow to air dry

That's awesome, teag! What a great idea to make the clay. I think I'm starting to look forward to Round 3!

That was jaw dropping with just the first pic, but all of that. My, I'm so impressed. None of my Dollar Trees or Dollar Generals or Family dollars had anything fabric like to work with. Fan freakin tastic Teag.

amazing_784 and TeriLynn, I like both of your bandanna purses - how funny that you both made similar items for each other.

leslieyam: amazing job on the shadowbox! The eye mask is so cute, and great job on the cameo necklace, too.

teag, I would love to see how you made the hatter hat, and the 3d plsuhie teacup is awesome! That fabric is really cool! I LOVE the artwork on the painted box, too! So great. The sand sculptures were a great idea - fun dollar store project.

Everything looks so superfantastic! I'm away from home for the next 5-6 days, but I hope that upon my return I might have a box of goodies awaiting me. Smiley

Sorry pops, you are just amazing with organizing this, and having all this other stuff. I hope you feel better. I guess allergies are forever, but 24 hours, and you will be up and popping all over the place. Grab a Popsicle and get back in bed.
