I know how hard organizing is. I love your creations. I've only organized 1 I think, but helped others. You did great, and can't wait to do this again. I hope I can be more help if anyone asks again.

Ok, so I got settled earlier than I expected...at least enough to get pictures taken of what I got!

First of all, I got a cool purse/bag thing made from the cover of a dollar store book and bandannas:

And the inside:

Some jewelry:

A spoon necklace, paper roses on a chain (I love the red beads!), a wooden bead bracelet, and some paper rose hair clips.

Some beautiful brown bead bracelets, and 3 palm-sized paper roses:

A glass jar with beautiful cranes and another paper rose:

And finally, the funniest pair of nylons I think I've ever seen:

TIGER!!!

I'm thinking about taking these with me when I go to Texas to see my hubby in July!

All in total, she spent $7.  Way to go!

I'm not sure if I am doing this in the right order, but I've been low on communication lately and since she asked me to take the pictures, I wanted to make sure my partner knows she's getting some cool stuff.  I will be mailing this package out tomorrow on my lunch break.  I'll be sure to PM my partner the DC when that is done.  First, here are my materials and receipts.

Dollar Store Materials:
1 Hanging wooden shelf
2 eye masks
1 pack of buttons
1 cameo hair accessory
1 dog leash
1 eye glass chain
1 pack of glow bracelets (extras)

Total: $8

Some of the materials did not make it into my final projects.  I hope that is okay.  I got frustrated with the ribbon yarn and the dog collar ended up looking too much like a dog collar.

For the large I painted the compartments in this little shelf in some of gala_apples' favorite colors and made some little polymer clay objects (that I think she'll like after browsing her wist) from scraps in my stash.  Then I finished it off with the dog leash as trim.

For the medium I took the two eye masks and sewed them together into a pouch and used the loop from the dog leash as a handle.  The decorations are the buttons from the $1 pack I bought and some scrap felt and thread from my stash.  This picture was taken while the pouch was still in progress.

For the small I took the cameo from the hair accessory and attached it to the eyeglass chain.

I'm glad you like it, Amazing_784- that was my first attempt at applique, hence the really super heavy seam on the non-tree side! And I apologize that the interior pockets might not be so, er, useful. I should have put pleats in! Also, the brown bracelets were just leftover from a big bunch I pulled apart for their stretchy cord.

Okay, here's my haul! (excuse the crappy photography- the weather shifted on me.)

First up, a cute black and white box

Which contained extra jewels

From the making of another latching wood box (love the sparkles and the jewels!)

Detail shot!

The inside is lined with corduroy, so I can keep jewelry in there without it sliding around

Next is a cute little rag bag

And a really pretty applique/patch flower

(taking a breath)

And 2 bandanna headscarves in some of my favorite colors

And finally, a fantastic purse!

(other side) I didn't get a great shot of it, but there's really cute, wavy stitching around the opening. I love the choices of fabrics and colors!

Inside- 6 very usable pockets!

I love that we both made bandanna purses!

I had such a good time with this swap. Thanks for being a great partner, Amazing_784, and thanks for being a great organizer, Pops!
