I recieved today! I would like to give a big ol' thank you to froggmomma!!

I was pretty impressed with the weight of this box and it made me all the more eager to open it up! Sorry for being image heavy.

For long: Tons of yarn! 3 balls of sock yarn and an alpaca blend yarn! Both in these really pretty gray/black tones. <3

Less than two inches is a cute crochet ring that I am already planning on adding it on to a WIP

Golden: Super amazing stitch markers in several different shapes. I can't wait to use them!

Lumpy: votive candles and candle holders. Very cute and will work great in the new place that we are getting ready to move into!

Something local is something that has already been snatched by the other half! Some wing sauce from froggmomma's favorite place.

Something related to the letter L: A loop d loop scarf that if it wasn't 90 degrees right now I'd be wearing it!

Sender's choice: an absolutely adorable bag that will work perfectly for my hospital trip tomorrow! I'm going to have to hide this one from the little one before she tries to steal it! There are also two cute embellishments on there that are removable!

Forgive the pictures, the dog was being nosy and trying to get into all of the pictures...
Also, the lining is AMAZING!

And an extra! A new knitting book that I've already found things to make for my daughter's upcoming b-day!

Thank you a million froggmomma! My first swap is over with and it went fabulous, I had tons of fun both crafting and recieving. Sorry for all of the exclimation marks.

That blanket is gorgeous and you got some awesome yarn

I completely agree!

Gamergirl, you must be some sort of speedy knitter
to have finished that stunning blanket in time!

I got my totally fab package from Mcook!!!

I'm sorry if I get some of the categories wrong, I lost my notes!!

For local, I got some handspun from a girl at Mandy's farmer's market...this girl is really good, she's only been spinning for a month, and it is so cute!!  I also got a wicked bumper sticker that is totally going on my car!

For golden, I got this home made soap!  It smells sooooooooooo good!!  As a bonus, I got an organic cotton knitted cloth. (super soft!!!)

For under 2 inches, Mandy made me these tags for my knitting and crochet!  They are so cute!!

For Lumpy, I got this fabulous knitted bag!  It can hold needles, or wine, or maybe both?  sounds like a good night to me!!!

For Long, I got a skein of one of my favorite yarns, Blue Sky cotton!!!  ooooh, I love it!!!

For "L", I finally get to try some Lorna's Laces!  None of my local shops carry it, so I have never knitted with it!  I have a feeling it will be on the needles very very soon!

and for senders choice, I got this supercute shirt!!  The ladies at my spinning group are going to LOVE this!!

I hope I got everything in the right place!  I really love everything, what a great package!!!

Step off, I'm doin the hump.
I don't need friends, I have teddy bears!!!

Thats an awesome package
I used my new drop spindle and spun the fiber glambastard sent with it, I dyed it with kool aid. This was my first sucessfull attempt.

Ignore the green hands, I was dyeing some yarn for my sister

I have very limited internet access so if you don't hear from me don't worry I'll be around soon

All of the packages are really awesome!
Superhooker I am so glad that I sent you the Lorna's since you have never used it.  I wanted to send something that wasn't one of your top 3.

Handmade and vintage goodness!

Prepare to be jealous!!  Smiley
My amazing partner sent another wonderful box of yarnie goodness
(I was lucky enough to be matched with her in a previous round, also!)
Here is the first glimpse of the goodies:

(everything has tags...she's so clever!)

Then we have:
Local = some yummy handmade soap
Lumpy = Mission Falls cotton (have never tried this, so exciting!)
Sender's Choice = a crocheted washcloth (love this -- she actually used some yarn I sent her last time! plus I can't crochet to save my life, so I'm in awe of her skills)

Smaller than 2" = a needle holder from Colonial Williamsburg, a keychain size crochet hook for making repairs, and a cute stitch marker *handmade*
Long = Leicester Longwool Yarn from Colonial Williamsburg!  How neat -- grown on historic sheep, she says in her note, and natural dyed....
The Letter L = Lavender Llama Lancaster Logndraw Spun....soft and shiny!  Another thing I've never tried before...llama!  Hey, did you spin this yourself??
and last but not least:
GOLDEN = 2 skeins of the most beautiful GOLDEN brown superwash natural dyed by Hazel herself!!!
Can you imagine??  What a wonderful pkg!
(oh, and the chocolate bar & coffee will be enjoyed & appreciated by me & my family   Grin
Thenutmeg2000, you ROCK!!
Thanks a million Smiley
