Hello ladies and gents...this is my first peyote piece that I'm sharing with ya'll so please be gentle.  Undecided

Anyway, I was on google.com looking at animal prints for inspiration and came across a beautiful blue and yellow scale print. I loved it, made a pattern for it and ordered the beads. The beads took 7 days (the longest 7 days of my life) to get her and immediately got to work. I couldn't be happier with how it came out...I love it. On to the pics...remember to be gentle!  Wink

It was hard to get a good shot of it becuase I used a handful of different finishes. Anyway, what do ya'll think?

That took a LOT of work.

It is simply beautiful.

What's your next project?

Wow guys! Thanks for the compliments. It actually wasn't too bad. It was made using the 2-drop method but it had 9 different colors so it took a bit more time than usual. I worked on it for a week on and off...mostly off. Haha!

For my next few projects I'll be doing a few more animal prints. I'm working on another animal print one and I'm waiting on beads for my next animal print project.

Honestly, I think the one I'm working on now is coming out better than the snake skin.  Cheesy

It's definitely very cool.

This board used to be quite active.

Not sure what's happened in the past year or so (I've been away), but sadly, this forum seems to have become very slow and inactive (at least compared to what I remember).

Not to worry. Your piece is definitely cool!

Thank you sweetie. I totally appreciate your compliment...I'm still kind of new to the art of beadwork so it makes me feel all fuzzy and tingly all over when I get nice compliments. LOL  Grin
