I saw a picture on this board the other day of a "ring bearer's pillow" made out of an antique book.  Now I cannot find the picture.  Does anyone know where it is?  I have tried many searches and rescanned the topics.  Thank yoiu if you can help me.

Hi,

I haven't seen the post on craftster, but while surfing the web tonight I came across this http://offbeatbride.com/2009/08/wedding-ring-book . I don't know if it's what you were looking for.

DARN, that is not it, but thank you so much for trying to help.  I just can't figure out where I saw that picture.  I guess I have to do my best by memory.

but now that i think on it...i bet it would be easy to do.

cut the center of the pages out to make a 'nook' for the rings...paint the edges of the pages metallic gold...paint/decoupage the outside...lovely paper glued in the front...i'm thinking to put a copy of our vows right there in the front...you could place a fabric covered square of foam in the nook with ribbons to tie the rings.

Yeah, it's forming in my head....i'm off to the used book store soon. Smiley

ok, and then AFTER the wedding, the book could be 'repurposed' as a 'frame' for a picture of the bride and groom.  yeah, i'm really diggin this now...

nope, not it.  But thanks for trying.  I have searched and searched.  Maybe it was in my head.  Glad you are getting excited dd.  I am not going to hallow out the middle but put rings with ribbons on the outside.  Gosh, I wish I could find that pic again.
