Hello all, sorry I've been a bit M.I.A. To be quite honest I'm having craft block and that coupled with some personal stuff made for some anxious, down in the dumps days. But, I cleaned up the apartment a bit and I feel a bit better

I've just started reading tarot after a 6 yr hiatus! I've pretty much forgotten what everything means.

As for the BOS. I started one about 6 or 7 years ago but it has since been lost. I am not really sure I am in a place right now to start one.

Edel, you are one hell of a strong woman. I'm with the others, the Queen of Wands is most likely you. I often pull the Queen of Cups for myself. I tend to read intuitively, as I'm terrible at memorization and I feel different decks can tell us very different things, just as people can. Here is the Queen of Wands for my deck...

To me, this Queen is confident, nurturing and care free.

The little white book mentions that she's a creative and self motivated woman filled with courage and determination..

Saturn, I completely agree. I love the WWP swaps and even when I'm gone for a bit, I feel myself inexorably pulled back to this little group time and time again.

I've only started reading tarot for a year or so, very sporadicly, and only with the major arcana, so I'm of no help >_< But I offer you my support and good thought, edel!

as for items, I'm slowly getting there! I take my time since I know I won't have the money by the deadline to send, so I'm adding more stuff and more details

I agree with what others have said...I love having a place where I can ask questions and just hear stories and adventures from other pagans, wiccans, witches and whatever else. I am so glad I found these swap and got up the courage to join.

EdelC...I am sending you lots of strength and as much you are awesome energy as I can, so that you can do what you need to do. I understand needing to keep hanging on but I also know that can eat away at you. You are beautiful, amazing, special and totally deserving of all happiness. I hope you find it and it finds you soon.

Morrigan...that tarot deck is gorgeous and the empress/mistress which is the cover card is amazing. I can see why you like her.

I was hoping that I would be able to send early since I'm shipping oversea, but it looks like I will be sending just a little early if not on time. I fell off the crafting wagon this weekend. I am jumping back on, so maybe. We will have to see.

I have my "large" small all planned and the "ingredients" ready, but feeling too icky to do it tonight. I'm pretty sure I have a migraine. It makes my stomach all wobbly too. Any advice besides using ginger and going to a dark quiet room? Anything I can do to head this off? I'm wondering if it is possibly related to blood sugar, I was feeling hungry before.

I love all you guys! Just so you know, we have a person who received already! Can't wait to see the stuff in the gallery soon!

Not to get off topic or put the carriage before the horse, but will there be a card swap for the next round? I got this crazy idea today...

I live on the Gulf coat of FL and we're all mourning the oil spill crisis...Our economy really depends on our beautiful beaches and fertile fishing grounds and without them we really lose our identity and our recovery from the recession.We are host to hundreds of species of birds, thousands of species of fish and sea creatures, including the endangered manatee, loggerhead turtle, bottlenose dolphin, and about a dozen or so species of shark. Growing up with the water in my back yard and a dad who taught me how to fish for the Gulf's bounty, its safe to say that I probably bleed salt water...just like many others do that live here.

I probably don't have to tell you how bad the situation is...CNN and MSNBC have been covering it non-stop. We've been lucky enough to have the Gulf's loop current work in our favor, and thus far it hasn't been brought to our shores, but it would only take a tropical storm (Which are kinda common down here...) to push it in our direction.

I went out to the beach and picked up a shell today and thought it would be neat to send one out in the next card swap to everyone with a little chant, maybe we can channel a little healing energy to our ailing waters.

Saturn, that's not a crazy idea at all. Chants and spells will be at least as effective as anything BP is doing to help, so let's do it! I really feel for you. It must be terrible knowing what's happening out there, still out of sight but heading inexorably toward you.  We can only hope that the Sea has ways of healing herself that we don't know about.

When I get a strong headache, I often was hungry before. I think it really might be a blood sugar problem. I'm always feeling better when I drink a lot of water or tea and putting a wet and cool washscloth on my forehead helps a lot.
