This holiday is to celebrate the longest day of the year, a "solar holiday", falling generally between June 19-23rd. It is also considered a time of balance between fire and water and a triumph of light over dark. Bonfires held late into the night are also tradition to extend the light. It is also tradition for some to bless water sources like springs and wells. It is also a good time for handfastings.

Mines in... and I filled it out on about 2 hours of solid sleep as I did the Relay for Life last night. I promise whoever gets me as a partner that if my answers seem scattered and sketchy I will clarify.  Grin

Yay! I can get signed up before I go out of town; I was a bit worried about how I was going to do that. I'll get it done tonight. I like the size restriction, by the way. It basically comes down to KEEP IT SMALL!

yes I think the size restriction will do me good as well!
I have so many things to do... like a birth gift for my nephew.... who is almost 3 month old now! >_<

Let's start random questions now, shall we?? Cheesy

Well, it isn't that random since I'm concern >_<
I have terrible back pain, and it's due to my pregnancy. The moment I felt pregnant my hips and lower back desaligned (sorry for bad translation) and it cause HUGE inflammation which keeps me from standing or walking too long, or just move when I'm laying down :S. The inflammation spread to me knee! I've tried going to the chiro, massage and trames. didn't last more than a couple of hours!
Inflammation meds are a big no-no when you're pregnant, and more herbs that could relief me are a no too!

So now I want to try gemstones and crystals. But I know absolutely nothing. Total newb. What of those could help me??

Yes, since it's summer, take it easy!  Grin Of course you may go over the top, but you are not required or expected to. I think all of us need a break from big stuff.

Maman, my dad had back pain that required surgery. Jasper is good for that. I made him a key chain "for good luck".  Smiley

http://www.gemstones-info.org/magnetite/
lists magnetite as a powerful healer.

I also wonder if you can use a warm heating pad to help too? How about a muscle rub cream?
