My Dollies are on their way to NY!!!

I made 7 dolls and my mom made 2 for a grand total of 9 dolls. We have 4 girls and 5 boys. My mom had a great fabric stash for boy fabrics, so we ended up making four boys together this past weekend. I took pictures today and will post them when I get them on my computer. I had cut out faces for more dolls, but I wanted to make sure the 9 dolls we made make it to NY in time to get to Haiti, so I might make some dolls for my local Children's Hospital. I'm definitely going to keep an eye on the blog so I can contribute to the next Dolly Drive that goes on.

I'm still here - dealing with a back strain and finishing up other swaps. Have one boy finished and the other 3 cut out. Tonight I'll try to finish one girl. My hope is to send mid-week - CA to NY shouldn't be too bad.

These are wonderful. I work at a daycare and would love to try to get the kids to help by choosing and cutting out the fabric. I don't know if I'll be able to complete any by the deadline though. if I do i will be sure to send pictures.

I have FINALLY put the pictures of my dolls I made in Feb/Mar onto my computer.

I had so much fun making these, and I'm so excited that there is another donation going on now (I've been checking the blog every few days in anticipation). And we have until November to make these little guys/gals. I can't wait to see how many dollies are made with this drive.

This may seem like a silly question - but are dolls still needed?  I'm looking for good craft and charity projects for my sons' cub scout dens.  If dolls are still needed - we'd love to do this!!
