No, I am not addicted, per se, but I do have to keep my lips balmed &/or sun-screened every day, and my favorite (Rachael Perry, Lip Lover, RaspberryCherry) has been discontinued -- I have been FORCED to buy many different sticks in an effort to find an acceptable replacement....

Problem is, lip balms are generally in round tubes, and when you get a lot of them together they like to go diving off counters!  (Alleviates the boredom when not in use, I guess.)  Wink

SO, I designed a Lip Balm Bandolier to hold them all.  I'm not really satisfied with it; it does not hang as smoothly as I would like, and I don't have the heavy wire I need to form the hanger I desire...But at least it WORKS.  Grin

Anyone have any tips on how to make the ribbon hang smoothly while keeping the elastic snug enough to do its job?  Let me know --

You could add a bottom hook.

That is really cool, and you could use the same idea for tons of other items accumulated.

What a great idea.  I am going to steal it and make one for my daughter.  Would a heavy weight in the bottom solve the problem?

Cool Should have thought of that myself! I even have some weights left over from another project.

I think the only solutions to the ripple effect on the ribbon are to either use fabric rather than elastic (which would limit its effectiveness), or to use something rigid for the topper.

I'm so glad you like the thing -- it's making me feel much better about it!
