I made a soft toy corgi into a handbag for my daughter.

The idea for this project was to use only things that other people had thrown away. I bought the toy from the local op shop (thrift store) for AUD$2, the fabric, zipper and stuffing for the handles also came from op shops and the fabric for the inner bag was given to me by a friend (who was planning on giving it to the op shop, lol). The total cost was about $2.50 and I'm really pleased with the way it turned out and my daughter loves it.

Free tutorial on my website :-)

Great idea!!! We see those "pocket book animals" in the stores all the time and they are soooo expensive.

Now that I can see how easy it is to make these myself I have the answer to what to do with my grandson's collection of hundreds of stuffed animals that are piled up everywhere!!!
