poor lady at flower shop must have thought I was crazy... Ive never ordered flowers before so had no idea what to get. If they were for me Id be quite happy with yarn poked onto crochet hooks and arranged  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

That would a super cute idea!  I would love to get an arrangement of yarn ball flowers and crochet hook/knitting needle stems!  I mean, really - that would amazing!   Cheesy
Wink  You know that now that idea will pop up somewhere on Craftster as a project someone made!

Ok, someone here now has to try that lol. Im off to stare at yarn and see what I can do. Be an awesome gift for yarnies everywhere! lol  Cheesy

I made so much progress on my super large today, I almost have the pattern memorized which is making it go a lot faster. Today one of my favorite neighbors bought me some yarn for this swap as a thank you gift for patching up his dad after he was mugged last week. I can only imagine to looks he and my husband got when they walk into the craft store together.

That is really sweet!

Grin quick update. I am about 50% finished on my grand multi-themed items. I'll probably start on the other half tonight while watching "The Nanny" I'd like to be done before my short road trip next week with my bestie, but I might be knitting in the car.

Just writing to let you all know that I won't be on for about a week.

The cord to my laptop had a little rip a few months ago, which I "fixed" with a good amount of electrical tape. Today I noticed that it wasn't charging, though. I took the tape off to find that the cord was in two pieces. Wow!  Angry

Anyway, I have ordered a new one which will be here next week. Can I survive without my computer for that long (it's on the last 30 mins of juice right now)? I guess I'll have to.

Thank goodness for netflix, the PS3 and my crochet hook!

Momiji - good luck with getting the computer fixed!

Tattooedcrafter - that is how all yarnies should be repaid for good deeds.  I'm glad you were able to patch your neighbor's dad though and that he was alright.

Teacher Workday today so I'll be taking my yarn with me because once I finish packing up (not a lot left to do anyway) I'll be free to crochet for a few hours.  Huzzah!

i wish more people repaid me in yarn, I would be that happiest crafter every if that was the case Grin He still had to go get his jaw wired shut but atlest nothing got infected and no stitches were needed.
