We just got the best box o' monsters from craftylittlemonkey!!!

First, the group shot:

This is Ballerina Monster (My daughter has named them already.)

She hasn't been put down since she came out of the box a few minutes ago...

This is Fred

He has a cute little pointy tail that doesn't show in this picture. I love the different patterns on his horns and legs.

This is Zippermouth. (Because he has a working zipper for a mouth. Wink)

We are having so much fun with these. My daughter has already written a song about Zippermouth that she singing as we speak. I love this fabric! He seems like he's part dragon... or seamonster... either way, we love him.  Smiley

We also received a new copy of Where the Wild Things Are. We LOVE this book!

Finally, the creepiest thing in the box.

Seriously, it scared me to death! It was tucked inside the card, all wound up. When I opened the card it fluttered out at me. I screamed and started doing the "ick it's a bug" dance while my daughter started beating it with her pink monster (she had claimed it before I could get the card open). We soon realized what it was and laughed our heads off.  Cheesy It was actually quite funny.

Thanks craftylittlemonkey for an awesome package!!! We love, love love it all!

Let me 'splain. No, there is too much. Let me sum up.

Hee hee hee butterfly! I hope you'll pass it along now. You just spin the parts in opposite directions until it's REALLY wound up!

Ok, when I got your parcel I was feelings sort of crummy that I didn't also send you all kinds of nifty monsterish thingies like you sent me because I just loved that! But I thought how do you send a monster to one kid and not that other? And how about You, you might want one too right? Plus you told me fave colours for all of you so I just had to do it.
I'm so glad you like them all, they were super fun to make. Little man helped me a lot too, he wanted me to make a double of all of them for him, ha ha!
Zipper mouth has a pocket behind those white teeth so you can hide things, shh! He is made, if you can believe this, from a jacket. Who wears a jacket made out of fabric like that? Ugh. But awesome for monsters so there you go Wink.

The bad news: There is no key to happiness.
The good news: It isn't locked.

My kids have been playing non-stop with all 3 monsters. It's been really cute. This morning they are "baby monsters" and are getting rides in the stroller. My little girl slept with Ballerina monster last night. Bubba won't sleep with his (because he's a monster) but loves to play with him. It's been so fun. Thanks again!

I actually received on Thursday, but took my swag to work on Friday to show it off to all of my co-workers and forgot it there for the weekend.  I made a trip on Sunday to get it, but was without power due to storms all day today until just now and couldn't charge my camera.
Here's what I got from skookum:
The most awesome monster purse ever!!!!  The tongue is the handle for opening it.  So cute.  The arms stretch up into the shoulder handle.  So cool.  I've been showing everyone ever since I got it.

An awesome bug change purse. It has a velcro opening at the mouth.

and...a sweet little sleepy critter pouch for my Nintendo DS.  It's so cute.  it zips up the side.

And I got a pooping puppy key chain.  I'm so lucky for getting skookum as a partner.  I hope the package I'm sending out tomorrow is loved as much as I love this one!!!

Almost done, it just needs a...*&$%!
