OMG..me too.  I allready had a bit of a hording thing going on...now it is CRAZY!  Even those lame plastic watches have teeny little gears in some of them.  My Hub has 3 watches that don't work and he won't give me....If I gutted them do you think he would ever notice??hhmmmm I could weigh them first and then add washers to equal the guts...but then why waste a good washer?  I'll be visiting my parents soon, I'm sure they have TONS of stuff I could rip apart!  It's all I have been thinking about.  I get to go rip apart 2 key boards the Hubs best friend gave him to give me now.  BYE
Lol, I fear I suffer from a wee (ok, a lot) of hoarding too and yeah, I'm eyeing every watch in the house wondering if I will ever *really* wear it again.
As for your husband's watch, so long as you left in the face and filled it with pebbles...who is to know? Cheesy
Good luck with your ripping!

Hi ladies!  I just wanted to tell everyone that I received BEAUTIFUL packages from darkangelwingz & Alchamy513, as well as from my side swappers Krafty_Karasu & april again today.  I did manage to post pictures in the gallery, but I've also come down with a migraine, so I'm going to head to bed instead of spending time gushing over each one and perfectly editing my mini-gallery.  I promise to come back and tell you all about them tomorrow!  For now, to all my swapping pals, THANK YOU!  And to everyone else in the swap, GO CHECK THE GALLERY NOW!!!

Yay, I'm glad you guys got them! I'm loving all the scrabble tile charms in the gallery, very cool. I feel bad I haven't gotten pictures up yet, I just keep getting distracted. They will be up tomorrow/Monday (Father's Day stuff to do tomorrow, but not all day). I love everything I've gotten so far!

I ordered the set from Firemountain gems and it came with a watch part that looks like it could be broken down more but how do you unscrew those tiny little screws? I have tried but they don't unscrew easily. I was thinking of smashing it with a hammer.

Blast that Micheals!! I should never go in to just "have a quick look".  I spent 40$ on bits and bobs..I know, I have a TON of bits and bobs..but they are so cute!  And on sale!!  No really!  I could not have gotten what I got for the price I got it at at full price!  Maybe I could sell something I make out of this stuff!!

Thanks for letting me practice what to say to  the Hub when he gets home from work and asks how my day was...... Grin

Agreed! Today my Grandma and I went to get a couple little things so I could put something together for my brothers birthday.. and we left spending over 75 bucks! Too many sells! & I finally got my hands on some of those industrial chic pieces!

I wouldn't use a hammer... depending on how fragile the screws are you could probably grab some pliers and break it apart!

Oh, I don't know if I said, the little extra gears that come in my package SHOULD change color in the sunlight... however, the nailpolish I used was kind of old so I don't know if they actually do or not... I have yet to check!
