the dragonfly shows the heat/fire technique I was talking about a while back.
I used the heat/fire technique for a few of my elements too. Thanks for the tip Krafty_K!!

Well, my charms are all packed up and I should have the items in the mail tomorrow.

Weeeee got my first charm from Doxie! Picture is being uploaded right now!
Will hopefully mail out manana.

But My mom just made me realize how expensive shipping is going to be.. because the smallest bubble wrap packages I could find are actually HUGE... compared to the little charms Sad & I already wrote all over them so theres no saving and using them later! Oh well.

I used 5"x8" padded mailing envelopes, and with DC charge included, shipping was $2.36 for each. So a total of $13.99. Goodmorningstarshin e's estimate for shipping on the first page of the swap thread was $12.72. So, if you went by that estimate, you won't be too far off. I don't think the size of the envelope matters so much as the weight.

I'm glad everyone that's gotten thier charm so far and likes them. I'm sorry I was late on telling everyone the tracking numbers. I sent out everyones on Monday then had internet trouble so i couldn't send people the tracking number until today. Once again I'm sorry, you all got them faster then I thought you would.

I am totally addicted to doing swaps now and I haven't even gotten anything yet LOL. I didn't relize how much work has to go into a swap. I mean, I make stuff all the time and it super easy but put a time limit on it and it turns into this big fiasco, but atleast a very fun fiasco.

Doxie24_7, that charm is awesome! I love the little key, I had a few but I've used them all up... now all I have are clasps with a lock and key that I just cut and file off the back loop. I'll have to go looking for more...

I did the same thing to a lot of mine because at first I was going to put them in resin. But the humidity in Boston has been so BAD i didn't think it would cure right. Now, I have so many tiny keys floating around my house it's not even funny. I hope more swaps come up that need keys LOL.
