ok, I have a silly question  .  This is my first time trying steampunk and I got my hands on a few old watches but I cant seem to get them open.  Ayyy, how is that done?

I use eye glasses repair kit screwdrivers... and brute force. It can be painful. Also some of the watch backs twist on and off instead of prying off.

I think I WILL join this swap.
and make extras of whatever I make for my friend who is steampunk'd.
Cause its super kewl and easy to get inspired by clock parts. at least for me

Etsy is a great source for small lots of steampunky bits and I'm a big fan of E6000 (glue) for stickage.  It smells pretty strong but once it sticks, nothing is coming off.

I need to get some of that. I had some great glue but the tip broke and then it dried out...
