very good job!  i think i still learn something new everytime!  Love the colors!  I am always happy to see budding new quilters join the world, soon it will be a much prettier, cozier world to live in!

I think that this is an awesome quilt!  Especially for a beginner.  I think, like everything in life, sometimes you just have to dive in and see what happens!  I have been exploring a lot of new skills over the past few years and am not great at anything...but I'm improving at them all bit by bit.   Smiley

I, too, chose disappearing nine patch for my first quilt, though mine isn't finished yet.
It's a wonderful pattern, and your fabrics are great!
