I want to start with a disclaimer:  I claim sewing and quilting as my primary crafts...but last year, I started branching out a bit into the world of papercrafting, ATCs, inchies, etc.

A friend of mine needed a little cheering after a hospital stay, so I wanted to send her something funny and personal...she loves flamingos!!  I decided I could try making a big (8x10) "ATC"... Smiley

Also, I am participating in the Complete all Boards Craftalong, so here is probably my only post to this board Smiley

I present my collaged flamingo!

Done on canvas board with torn paper, gesso, markers, ink, paint, and love!

Thank you for looking...I know she likes it and that is what counts! Smiley

 A bit more detail!

That's lovely! And don't be so quick to say this will be your only post to this board -- once you've got the collage bug it's hard to stop. The next thing you know, you're eyeing the roof of the car and thinking "All that blank space..."

That is so great. I don't know why I hang on to so much paper, but this is the perfect use. I love it. I like the colors and the little details. Can't wait to see your finished 'art' room.
