I designed this fish as a Father's Day gift, but you can make it for any fan of the pineapple stitch , fishing enthusiasts, collectors of fish icons, or for a bookmark exchange.

You can use any thread and hook that you like, or make a big fish as decorative element with worsted and a bigger hook.

 Wink I never tought of that! If you don't make the chain length, you can use it on a piece of furniture, a doily as you said or maybe a coaster.
