Oh, wow. For something that looked so complicated, you made it look super simple. Great job!

I too love this pattern, and had to try it right away.  I just tied a circle of the same cotton thread and that worked fine (I used the bottom of a glass to tie it around and then slipped it off).  Of course I don't have a picture right now, but will post when I get one.  Thanks for the pattern!

i LOVE this, I owe someone an afghan or something similar to it, so I'm going to try to make a large version of it that's not so stiff, I probably won't need the rings. I'll post when(if) I've completed!

I used a thick beading wire to make the loops, I am just having trouble weaving in the stripe-I can't make it look right to me. I will keep trying though!

I am glad to see this went to featured, I have been making them for years.

That looks awesome. I love the colors. I would of never guessed you did it with those 6-pack plastic ring things.

Here is my finished project!

I'm not quite sure how Craftster Photo Hosting works so let me know if you can't see the photos.
Thanks for the great pattern!

Rather than guessing how much to chain for the band you weave through, try using foundation double crochet. I find my FDC tends to want to curl into a circle if I'm not careful, which would actually help in this case!
