help! giant satellite dich in my back yard

hello craftsters!  i am in need of your help!  in November we moved into our house and since then we have been racking our brains about what to do with the giant gray satellite dish that's behind the garage.  everytime someone new comes to visit its always brought up.  it hasn't been used in years and was pretty popular in the early 90s.  here the ideas we came up with so far, though none i think wold work. 
-fire pit, awesome, however waaaaaay to pig.
-5 person snow sled, its got holes in it so it wouldn't work.
-dog house/play house, its too shallow of a bowl for any of us to get into and we dint have any kids plus the yard isn't fenced in so the dogs would never be out there without us to need a house

i suggested putting it on the front lawn with some neon lightning bolts coming out of it with a sign 'God is watching' but we dint wanna upset the catholic church next door, or and of the 6 other churches on our little street

so any suggests you got, well take,  I'm pretty crafty and have some access to some tools and my roomie is an engineer who finished our basement with the help of his Father and grandfather and my fiancee is good at holding stuff lol ill see if i can get a decent pic and maybe the dimensions of the damn thing.

You could use it for the roof of a miniature greenhouse.  It makes a nice sturdy roof, and all you need to do is add clear plastic to the top.  build sides from old windows, and you're set to go.

Maybe a very small gazebo.

We dismantled ours and used the pieces for yard art.  the screen makes very nice flying critters if you cut it.

If it's deep enough, what about a raised garden bed? You'd have to line the bottom in that black weed barrier stuff or some plastic to keep dirt and roots in.

Mosaic it inside and fill it with water fro the birds...........if you're feeling really inventive you could make a fountain out of it.

Half bury it after mosaicing and make a pond out of it.

Sew a biiiiiig papasan-style cushion (http://cl.ly/312a996d7fc78577b5a8), construct a stand, and you've got yourself a huge papasan lounge! It would be ideal for an outdoor lounge spot - I assume it's plastic, which won't mind the weather.

If you're not big on sewing, I am... and my prices are relatively inexpensive.

The raised garden bed is a good idea. That's what my parents did with theirs. We had one of the plastic (?) giant ones when I was growing up. My dad filled it up with plants, cactus and a garden statue in the middle and it has lasted them years. It's like the small container gardens on a big scale!
