I did manage to declutter a stash of magazines and tear out images that either inspire or can be used for altered arts and inchies!  Two in one!!

I have all my ideas in line except for one or two partners...can't wait to start seeing the gallery again!

I do NOT like diamond glaze. Just had to redo a set of inchies because they all cracked across.  Angry

Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong?

Also, do you think the new verb, to inchy, will be in dictionaries soon?  Grin

I've been using Diamond Glaze for different things - mainly glass pendants and I think it helps to do 2 or 3 coats of Mod Podge first. I know it protects the artwork and I think it adheres better to the glaze. It is a bit of trial and error. And I know how it sucks to make something and then have it crack/distintegrate/vanish after applying diamond glaze.

And yes, I think inchify should be in the dictionary:

inchie (noun) a 1" by 1" piece of art. Only for trading, never for selling.
inchify (verb) to create a 1" by 1" piece of art. To cut things into 1" by 1" squares.

Thanks, Smmarrt, for the glaze advice. I'd have quoted it if I could have worked out how!

I like your verb "inchify" better than my "inchy". Must go and inchify some more!  Cheesy

Inchiosity.  What happens when you start thinking about your inchies when you should be working at your job.

I just got back from a trip to Denver and I took my paper stuff...but didn't do a thing. Best laid plans. But hopefully I can get started tomorrow.

Since I've been out of town, I've been finding tons upon tons of things that would be perfect for inchies!  Can't wait to use them!
