This measures 40x40 and I used scraps from a rainbow twirl skirt I was making for my daughter. At the time I had thought I'd make one quilt for each section of the spectrum. I have the blues, greens and purples cut but other projects have gotten in the way. The back is a solid piece and it was stitched all through three layers; top, batting and backing.

I absolutely LOVE this.  Very simple, very sweet, and so well done!  (It also might be helping that it greatly resembles the quilt my mother made me while she was pregnant...)   Cheesy

So pretty- I love how the white balances out the strength of the pinks/reds.
