Being kinda tight on cash lately, I knew I couldn't afford to buy my mom a present this year, so I decided to make her a table runner/hot pad. I tried to coordinate the colors with the placemats she has but I didn't have many fabric colors/patterns that matched. So I did my best Smiley I just kind of winged it when it came to the pattern and everything. Just made changes as I went.

The colors are a deep grape purple and a black flower pattern with a grey backing and a white binding.
(the stitching isnt that white, I used a white charchol pencil to draw my sewing lines and haven't washed it yet)
C&C welcome Smiley

I have to say I love the colors and the pattern you used.  I also like how you chose to quilt it.  Well done!
