I received my dishcloths from craftADDchick today! They are so beautiful and I love them.  I especially love the colors.  I never would have thought to put those colors together, but they work well. Cheesy My favorite is the tulle scrubby.  The first one is a variegated zipper square.  The brown one is a chain stitch face cloth in the shape of a diamond and the striped one is based off of the Fibonacci series (I've never heard of this, but I'm going to look it up. I think it has something to do with math.) She says in her note that the scrubby (the round purple) was a prototype.  I LOVE IT! It is so awesome! I never would have thought to use tulle!
I use exclamation points a lot because I'm so excited!  Grin  Thank you SO much craftADDchick!!  You made this an awesome first swap for me!!!!

I'm glad they arrived so quickly! I'm really glad you like the colors, too. I picked up that variegated yarn and liked the color combo, so I went with it. I couldn't find a solid aqua, surprisingly, so I went with the purple instead.

The tulle scrubby was sort of an odd coincidence. A gal I work with mentioned that someone in her knitting group knitted with tulle to make kitchen scrubbing cloths and then when I was buying the yarn for the washcloths, the gal at the register mentioned it as well. I figured that it was a sign that I just had to try to crochet with tulle Smiley

And, the brown cloth isn't supposed to be in the shape of a diamond, but for some reason, it wouldn't stay straight, even though I was careful with my stitches.  I even did it all in one sitting so my tension should have been consistent. Huh Maybe it'll square up a bit more when it gets wet  Cheesy

Thanks for swapping with me Vdbonnett and thanks for organizing this swap Sejimara!

OH!!  Smiley Well, if you had been TRYING to make it into a diamond, it would have come out square (At least that's how things work for me).  When I was making yours, I tried a pattern and one side was straight but the other side kept coming out at an angle and kind of acting like it was going to be a circle, so I gave up on that one.  Grin

I received from Vdbonnett! And they are awesome! I definitely can't pick a favorite, that's for sure!

This first one has such a great stitch pattern; if I made a larger version, it'd make a great blanket.

The next one has a lovely nubby texture that doesn't show well in the photo, and because of the variegated yarn, it has a cool design in it, too! Grin

And finally, one that is almost too lovely to use! It looks like a flower!

Thanks, Victoria! And thanks again, Sejimara, for organizing!

PS Vdbonnett included the pattern links in her note, but I can't find it in my pile of mail. Once I dig it out tomorrow night, I'll post the info for anyone who is interested Wink
